Thomas J. Cusick, Managing Director
Thomas Cusick is the founder and Managing Director of East Peak Capital, bringing over thirty years of investment experience across venture capital, private equity, and real estate — including direct investments, fund investments, and secondary acquisitions.
Prior to founding East Peak Capital, Mr. Cusick served as Managing Director at CIBC Capital Partners, where he led the firm's West Coast investment activity. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Accenture Technology Ventures focused on software and enterprise automation, and served as Director of Acquisitions at Koll Management Services, a private equity-backed consolidation in real estate services. Mr. Cusick began his career as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young, advising emerging private companies.
Beyond his investment career, Mr. Cusick is deeply committed to education and athletics. He previously served on the Board of Governors of the University of Southern California and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Thomas School. He serves as an alumni representative for Harvard Business School and is an active board member of UC Berkeley Men's Lacrosse. A dedicated coach and competitor, Mr. Cusick spent ten years coaching varsity lacrosse and has competed in Ironman triathlons for over three decades.
Mr. Cusick received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Southern California.
